Evan has been a physical therapist in the Las Vegas Valley for over 9 years, and a combined experience of over 15 years in the industry. He has worked with and trained from some of the Valley’s top PT companies and practitioners. Evan earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University Nevada in Las Vegas. Before becoming a therapist, Evan was a personal fitness trainer and coach. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, which started his path towards physical therapy. When it comes to physical therapy, Evan is diligent in his patient care. He is hands-on with his treatments and very involved in the progression of patient treatment plans. He genuinely cares about you, your progress, and the accomplishment of your goals.
Evan has significant experience in vestibular and balance conditions, rehabilitation, and treatment. He enjoys working with these specialty populations. He is certified in the Otago Exercise Program, to keep people vulnerable for falls without injury. He is also certified for Dry Needling and KT taping.
Evan often has students working with him from local universities as part of the clinic experience education and serves on the Community Board for the School of Physical Therapy at Touro University Nevada.
Evan is married and has 2 children, who he adores and are the reason he works so hard. He is an avid sports fan, with his favorites being Baseball and Hockey. He grew up playing both, and continues to love watching and participating in recreational leagues. Evan is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys speaking Spanish whenever he gets the chance. Michaela is our newest physical therapist here at LVL Up Physical Therapy. She grew up playing soccer, where she first discovered physical therapy, after some of her teammates acquired sports related injuries. Her passion for physical therapy grew as she started weight lifting and became a certified personal trainer. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Sciences and Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2019. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro University Nevada and became a licensed physical therapist in 2022.
Michaela has special interests in nutrition, sports injury, and functional training and is committed to continuing her education. She provides individualized care to each patient and ensures a patient goal centered approach to therapy.
Outside of physical therapy, Michaela enjoys attending concerts and traveling with her fiancé. She is dedicated to living an active lifestyle, whether it is lifting weights, hiking, kayaking, or dabbling in various sports such as soccer, soft ball, CrossFit, MMA, or Jiu Jitsu.
